Alright....convinced me, i'm gonna go torque that baby up. Big weekend getting this baby going. Going to attempt to rejet, seel up the infamous oil leak and get this belt figured out.  I've got loads of the loc tite, used to build industrial lawn mowers for Tiger and been sold on it ever since. Almost better than duct tape.....almost  Roll Eyes

Hey thanks everybody, retorqued the drive pulley nut to 90lbs.... wouldn't ya know, no more popping. I saw someplace to be careful how much torque to put into the cover bolts, anybody know what that should be?

What size socket is needed for the front pulley not?

I have the same bent washer and knocking, guess I need to get a torque wrench!
