Looking good. Glad you didnt tear one or both of you up beyond repair.
well according to their site they should be-
"With few exceptions—those great stainless-steel handlebars from Exile come quickly to mind—most handlebars are made of mild steel. Don’t get us wrong—mild steel has many great properties. It’s easy to bend, easy to weld, abundant and affordable. However, when compared to seamless 4130 chromoly, the load strength, tensile strength and bend resistance of mild steel falls far short of its high-tech brother. This might explain why ab crunchers are made out of mild steel and why small aircraft fuselages are made out of chromoly. No one ever plummeted 30,000 feet to their death when their sit-up machine took a nuts.
MATERIALS: Biltwell handlebars are precision crafted with 100% seamless 4130 chromoly. Depending on each bar’s size and design, the wall thickness of our tubing varies from 1.6mm to 2.0mm. These wall variances let us minimize weight without compromising strength."
