I did a search for luggage racks and found a thread, but do not know how to add a reply to the search.

I have a stock seat which I am sending to Sargent for modification. Then I want to put a luggage rack on my 2005 S40. Do I have to buy a backrest inorder to put a luggage rack on the bike?

Exactly what do I need to order to be able to attatch luggage to the back seat? What is the best source to order? I already have saddle bags on the bike.

Do appreciate the links. Spent the entire day in the hot Texas sun taking the experienced riders course. Came home and found out that my son bought a new motorcycle. He got Brand X. A Honda Spirit 1100 CC.
