Brought this up in another post but wasn't sure everyone who knows would catch it in there.

My wife wants to swap her 05 bar riser set up out to the old style. Anyone know if all the cables will work? also it looks like the 05 stock risers are 2 piece, has anyone taken the stems off and just used the top section ? any problems or added hardware needed with this?
