Kuryakyn 7980.  The clamps are 1" which is the diameter of our engine guard ... provided you have the OEM engine guard.  If not they also come in 1 1/2 and 1 1/4.

Is there a setup like this you could mount directly to the frame and eliminate needing the engine guard?  Something like this.  http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=metric&ci=3272

I'm sure you could.  The only reason I've researched the ones for the engine guard is because I had already installed it.  If you haven't bought it yet, please do yourself a favor and don't.  It is NOT an engine guard.  The photos from Suzuki are very deceiving as to it's actual size.  I saw a post on here where someone made their own home-made highway bar.  A lot cheaper than anything you'll get already made.

The only advantage that I think there is for the size of the engine guard (it hurts me to call it that) is if you plan to install Ed L.'s forward controls.  I do not believe it will interfere because of how small it is.

I found someone that has this setup on a bike he is selling.  I e-mailed the seller to see if he would sell the pegs and mount bar alone.

Thank you.  I am trying to figure out the best place to mount them.  That photo helps.

They came with the 87 Savage frame I use for mock-up. But you can probably get them from the stealership, I believe they are original Suzuki product.

And I don't mind a bidding war of more than one of ya'll want them.  Wink Wink

There are different lengths of pegs......when I had thought about the same set up,I was going to get the 6" pegs! Just to make the whole set up wider across.

Then as someone said there is also the extension pegs!

This is the highway bar I made for my bike using an old 2 wheeled dolly. I purchased the pegs from JCWhitney. Total $30-$35.

You can't beat $30-$35 !
How wide is yours? I think the S40 engine guard is 15" wide.
