Just got one

Well I went out and got my permit two weeks ago and bought my first bike a 97 Savage. It's in pretty damm good condition and I haven't heard any weird sounds or anything from it but I want to do a few changes.

First off there really isn't much room for saddlebags on these things so I was thinking about moving the rear turning signals down near the licenseplate. I was hoping to use the same bolt that I used for the license plate to bolt them on. Anyone have a good sight they could point me to that sells turning signals like that?

I use to tear down my old Yamaha dirtbike all the time to do misc things to it but I havn't worked on a bike in atleast 6 years. That being said I would kind of like to mod it a bit.

I'm looking to get a new muffler that is a bit louder but not crazy loud. Also I read about changing out the air filter but I don't want to go tearing it up to much.

Oh and I need a new rear tire it is 140/80-15 can anyone point me to a site that sells them

Yes somethinglike that. Did you machine the plate that you attach the turning signals to?

Oh also where can I get some of the saddlebag rests so that they won't go into the rear wheel? I found some on a site but they arn't any spec for my bike.

The supports are a stock Suzuki item that came on some bikes (my '97 has them).  You should be able to order them from BikeBandit or the like - or your local dealership.  I removing mine, but I'm keeping them in case I want to use saddlebags.

they're called saddle bag brackets, they're on ebay all the time and sometimes in the marketplace.
