I am trying to remove the clutch handle. I have everything undone but can not figure out how to get the hand grip off. The Clymers just says to take it off it does not say how.
guess I should mention it is a 2006 in case it makes a difference.

When I did mine I stuck in a screwdriver and twisted until I worked it completely around then stuck in 2 more equally spaced then twisted the whole thing off.

If it's like the older ones remove the chrome end cap. It's just pushed into the end of the bars. Then you can get a screwdriver under the grip.

It has the chrome on the ends. I tried twisting pulling it all looks like one solid piece.
