Odometer reading with chain conversion...

I assume that since my speedo is reading wrong, so is my odometer?  By the same percentage?  Basically, this means I should still fill up every hundred miles, and change my oil a little sooner?

You've changed your gearing by about 10% so the odometer will be off by the same amount.  I'd expect 10 miles will show about 9 on your odometer assuming you now have 16/43 gears (if my memory serves me correctly.)

I fill up a little sooner, but my MPG went up too...

I change my oil once a year regardless of miles now, so that didn't change anything for me.

I don't think 10% would matter much unless you're trying to get 10k between oil changes, then you're just plain nuts.

And fill up when ever you need 2 gals, if that works out to 200 miles on the od, good for you.
