Savage Colours

No not nasty colours but colours on a Savage.

It is a US Import to the UK declared as a manufactured/US registration date of 03 07 2001 and imported to UK in 23 09 2004

or if you prefer US reg date 07 03 2001 Wink

It is a light Silver Blue, the original Importer must have been colour Blind as it has been declared on documentation as "Silver".

So What Light Mettalic Blues were used on the Savage? So I can narrow down the search for Touch up paint in the UK

There's a thread in the Tech Ref forum deceptively titled Savage Colors By Year.

Metallic Glacial Blue, and boy is it a pretty blue. That's what mine is. 2001

Here's an old photo of my bike. I replaced the old pipe with a new one, which is still the same. Loud as hell. I also bought new saddlebags. And for $5, you can't go wrong (the guy that sold it to me didn't ring it up right..lucky me!!  Tongue)

It's loud as hell cause you're missing the baffles.
That is a supertrapp isn't it?
Get baffles for it and it'll sound great and you'll get better power.
Betcha it's running a little ragged too.

Well, I have the baffle for the new pipe. When I first bought the bike, the baffle was broken out..somehow. But, I love to ride it to work with the baffle out. It makes me feel safer.  Smiley
