anyone know what is the fattest front tire this bike will take?  I'd like fat rubber at both ends of my bobber. Tongue

Swap out the front end for one off of a VZ800 Marauder ... that'd give you beefier front forks AND tire! Cool

hey demin what type of tank is that on your bike? Did you have to cut the frame to make it fit? I really want to put a peanut style tank on my savage but it dose not seem like any would fit without cutting the frame.

The only thing I cut were the studs sticking out to mount the original tank, but I wanted the sportster tank to go over the frame a little.I went to the hardware store, and bought a connector nut(it's a nut about 2" long) welded it on for the front mount.Chopped the rear mount off the old original and welded it to the new tank.
