That's a good question, the pegs are moved forward not down so I don't think they would get dragged any more that in the stock location. I've noticed that my feet are in a different posistion and my left heel drags a bit when squirming thru the twisties if I don't keep it sitting flat.

Ed

I've had time to think (sometime good, sometimes not) of two more questions.
1. I have the Suzuki crash bars. Will I have room to move forward 4" and still use them?

2. Have you ever used alum. diamond plate to make them? I think it would look nice. And yes, I do sometimes color outside the lines. Smiley

Thanks,
Bigzuk

I don't know about the crash bars, they sit up high on the down tube and should be out of the way. I thought about using aluminium diamond plate but the metal is softer than the 6061 I've been using and might bend. I was thinking about doing a set like the old hotroders used to do. Take a wooden dowel with some grinding compound and scrub a circle design into the aluminium.

Bigzuk, Ed and others.

I have the suzuki bar on my bike, along with the controls.  There are no issues between the two.  The bar is high enough (and small enough) there is no trouble.

Again Ed, count me as a satisified customer.

I've still got the 4 inchers ready to ship. Got a full time job so I'm not on the board as much as before.

ED...  I'll take a set.  I was wondering about paypal as well.  Do you take it or how do you prefer to be paid?

I'm 5'11" and would like to be stretched out as much as possible.  Should I go with the 4" set you have or will you be making any longer ones in the next 6 months or so?

Thanks a lot

Matt

you need a buddy or some type of jack to hold the bike up while you do the left side controls. Other than that Ed's kit is 100% bolt on and go.
