solo seat for the taller savage

HI EVERYONE!!
i love my Suzuki, but I think I might be a little taller then who the bike was designed for, I am 6'2" with long legs and on rides over about 10 minutes I really want to stretch out,
I wanted to share the seat mod I did last weekend, it has dramactically increased the comfort of my ride.
the seat is just a cheap seat I found online, but I moved the seating position back about 2-3 inches at least. The front mount I made out of a 6" gate hinge, the rear mount is a strip of iron plat that I bolted to the upper rear fender mounts, it extends about an inch past the frame tubes and that is where the springs mount. I also kinda bent the fender down onto the wheel more, I lowered it about 2" from the uppere mounts, i think it makes it look a little more sleek.
next i am going to put some 10" or 12" ape hanges on and the thing should be like an easy chair.

I'd be interested in seeing more detailed photos of the setup. Looks great!

I would also.  I have a spring seat arriving this friday and I'm looking for mounting ideas.

here are some better photos of the mounts-
I would have liked to make all of this a little cleaner, but i don't have a shop so i am stuck using whatever I can find at the hardware store-
this front mount is just a 6" gate hinge, I had to drill some holes for the tank bolts but that was it, i also put another peice of metal strap on that so I could move the seat back farther.

I used the upper fender bolts to mount the spring bracket,
i also lowered the top of the fender about 2", I think it gives it a little meaner look, I am going to get the blinkers and tail light off of there soon.

Edit:  modified links to use the full size images instead of the 200 pixel wide versions.
