rear turn signals

After relocating my rear turn signals further back to allow for a bigger set of saddle bags, I decided that I didn't like the looks of the OEM signals so I changed them out for a set of mini bullets. Here's a couple pics.

Thanks guys. I think I'm gonna have to add a load equalizer because they are LED's and the flashers are flashing really fast.

There are resistor packs that can be used to fool the existing flasher or you can get a digital flasher unit, though you'll probably have to do some adapting to get it to fit.

My LED turn signals flash fast too. I ended up just leaving it as it was, thinking, "the faster they flash, the more people will see them".  Wink

I had a line on some Chrysler gunsight tail lights, but the bid went up astronomically. Soon as I can afford 'em, I'm putting some vintage Ford tail lights on it. (As well as remove the price tags from the brackets and the belt, etc...)

They looks great.  How are they attached?  Could you please post a close-up of where the light and bracket meet?

here are a few more pics. I used a piece of flat steel and made a 90 degree bend on each end, then drilled the appropriate holes to mount the bracket to the licence plate bracket and to mount the lights on the bracket It was pretty easy and seems very sturdy. I had it mounted using a piece of alum pipe but the alum wasn't quite strong enough to withstand all the vibration. This is much better.
