Hi everyone, loking for your thoughts and suggestions. Broke a stud of the exhaust header..see large heat shield thread for specifics.  Anyway, now that I have to take the top end of the motor off, what mods would you do to make the most of this bad situation.  I am thinking I'd like the camshaft Lancer does, and will need to open up the carb  and exhaust (Well, it as open as it can get right now, I realize Shocked)  I guess the question is to have it bored out for a larger piston?  I'm not thinking i'd like to increase compression all that much.. So, what mods would you do given the unplanned engine top end job??

I'd helicoil it in place and ride until winter rather than waste a riding day/week/month. Max
