From the header, is the savage exhaust pipe 2" O.D.??
If so, what diameter muff should we look for. I would like a reverse cone muffler- has anyone done one?? Thanks for any help you can give.

The end where the stock muffler was attached is 1.75" OD.

Just contacted MAC muffler and they tell me via e-mail that there slip on will not fit my '07 S(avage) 40. Savage Robb has one on his '98. Difference in pipe or mounting bracket?? Anyone mounted one of these on their late mdl scooter? Input?

Supertrapps cost a lot, but are tuneable. Maybe go with a Dyna muff? They look real good I think & gotta sound better than stock ever could. Ifd that doesnt suit ya, then you wouldnt be out much $$$, or just jump on the Trapp?
