Just installed my new jardine slip on. LOUD! my roomate couldnt believe how much it beefed up the sound and neither could i. took it for a ride and let 'er rip. too bad the backfiring is worse. anyone have any specific pictures on how to rejet? i know there a walkthrough but im not familiar enough with motorcycles to know where anything is. im a picture person. thanks!

Read the Tech Ref forum's threads; Mid-Range Power & the White Spacer (Backfire) and anything with carb or jet in the title/subject.  Some have pics and some don't.

The only one that I know of that you don't have to rejet is the supertrapp.   Grin

Slip-on only means that you shouldn't have to do any physical modifications to mount it up.

But by putting on freer flowing exhaust you will still inevitably have to re-jet.
