well, thanks to many of you with your help on "how to remove the grips" , i now have the "Mini apes" or stock wide glide handlebars on the 02 savage

best of all, after lots of creative re-routing, the stock cables and wiring was long enough.....if the bars though were just 1/4" longer or wider, it wouldnt have worked

bike feels awesome now!!! 8)
