changing hand grips (Read 9 times)

changing hand grips

i searched on here, but couldnt find a "how to" on changing hand grips ???

i'm pretty sure the clutch side just pulls off.....

its the throttle side i'm mostly unsure about ???

Pry the chrome end caps off. Slice the rubber grips with an x-acto or similar. Slide cheesy little chrome trim ring off clutch side, if you need to pull the throttle side, crack it off with pliers. Discard junk. Spray inside grips with spray paint and slide onto bar/throttle sleeve.

Should take 5 minutes.

Yep.  WD makes friends with every buyer of a used bike anywhere.  I wonder if black is the best color paint. Tongue

Actually I think there is a long topic about this that's just about a month old.

Paint is paint. Works better than any grip glue I've ever tried, and if you change grips later comes right off with an SOS pad.

Yep, I'm a cheapskate.  Wink
