spacer and idle mixture (Read 3 times)

Is this correct? and is there a fix that does not reduce MPG? Any substitutes for a slide hammer? and does anyone have stock pipe/airbox with this spacer/screw modification? Thanks

...I wonder... if this might be related to the cam chain issues on the more recent models. Just maybe, leaning out the engines in recent model years to show voluntary compliance with EPA regs has had an unintended consequence.

...just thinking out loud here.
