It's been a while since I saw the thread about a photo/how-to book being put together. I've forgotten who was undertaking that task. How's that coming? A good resource like that on a CD or DVd would go a long way towards me not fearing taking the guts of this thing apart come winter.

Strange I had no qualms about tearing my old '65 Impala SS 396 motor apart in the driveway but have concerns about all those little pieces of the 650 scattered about the place. Daring of youth or boring of not-so-youth. Not sure what the issue is, but a pictorial guide would still be way better than the line drawings in manuals.

Give us a date, give us a price and turn us loose with our check books and credit cards.

I've just about got the project finished, but I've been holding out for photo donations from Savage riders.

The last part that I have been hoping to include is a full collection of Savage/S40 bikes for all years.  Only 4 people have contributed so far...still need about 15 more years

My black '02 is in pieces in the garage (clutch cover is off) but I could probably put it together enough to take pics. Do you need pics of a black '02?
