Ther's a 30 & a 32 mm in there. One is for the clutch basket, other is crank. A 1& 3/16ths will handle the job of the 30 mm as it is only 20 100ths larger than 30 mm. Thatv stuff isnt all that tight, 65 to 79.5 foot/pounds on thge crank & 36 to 50.5 on the clutch main nut. / 8 to 9.5 on the 4 little 10 mm ones that hold the clutch springs in a bind.

I dont have any sort of clutch holding tool & didnt fashion one. I dialed the torque way down on the IR 1/2 impact & hit it a few times, watching everything very closely. Once the clutch plates could provide enough friction to allw me to poke the leather between the gears & turn the nut without just spinning the clutch plates I used the torque wrench. My approach to solving problems can create big p[roblems, so please, dont think this is in any way recommending doing it my way. If tools are available or if you can make your own, by all measn do. IF, however, you understand how the clutch works well enough & have a way of doing it this way. It certainly will work. I trust those who cant wont & those who try will be successful.

I cant rem,ember who told me about the 3/16ths socket. Since I have the metric I will use it. Still, that stuff is good toi know.
