I prefer the high-tech route too.  I keep a supply of straws that I pick up at McD's (strong plastic ones).  Insert the end of one under the grip and blow really hard!!
Be sure you have a good grip/attachment on the throttle-grip so that when you pass out from blowing so hard the grip will come off as you fall down on the ground.
