My lovely husband forgot to bleed the clutch plate for the fluids.

What is this? How is it done? Why must it be done? When? Only thing I ever bled out besides brakes & a hydraulic clutch was a deer.

I got mixed up and was talking about our 1993 chevey pick up truck. We have to bleed the clutch master cylinder on the truck.  It was just the springs on the motorcycle that wouldn't auto rerelase. There were no springs.

Thats why I suggested isolating the cable from the clutch arm. You would have known in less than 5 minutes which way to go. Toward the handlebars or towards the engine. Now, What was wrong with that engine that made ya replace it in the first place?

Nothing. We were pricing cam chains and wanted to look into seeing how much some of the engine's were going for that were being parted out. We found a deal with this one and couln't pass it up. We just have to get some parts for the one we took out of my bike. Like carbs, starter and cam chain and adjuster. (basically we paid for the engine for how much we would have by getting a new cam chain and adjuster, starter and carbs.

Well, if you decide to sell it, please drop me a message. I would seriously like to have a spare. Anyone ? If you have a spare in good running order I would like to have one.
