If you push the forks up into the triple clamp 3/4" to 1", would the fork brace still be needed?

that would help but the forks can't be raised. the holes in the top of the triple clamps have sort of a rim that prevents the forks from sliding up. if you ground it off, there's no pinch bolts to clamp onto the forks.
