Im new here but Iv been lurking for about a month now. My question is I plan on bobbing out my savage and was looking for some input on what I could eliminate from the wiring I know the turn signals and relays are going same with the side stand relay. but what about the decomp contoller adn solenoid those are needed right. Any other advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

The sidestand relay works together with the switch on the clutchlever and the diode. All to do with starting and preventing you to take off with the sidestand down.

I would NOT delete the decompression solenoid as this is for easy starting the big thumper. Some people I 've heard make the decompression manual and use it for starting and killing the engine.

The turn signals and relay can be remove all together if law permits.

A wiring diagram will help you to do this.

Its going good I have the wiring diagram drawn up just trying to computerize it  to share with everyone.
