Oh, no, another Stimpy post
Anyway, I finally installed that 3-headlight set that I wanted. Found it on sale at scootworks for $99USD as a Marauder accessory, fits perfect. And yes, the two 55w halogen lamps make a big difference when riding at night. P.S. They are connected to the high beam only.

I think it looks good. I know you said it fits perfect, but was it a direct bolt-up or did you have to do some drilling/modding?
Other than that, I'm curious as to what kind of load it will put on the electrical system.

No, no drilling, just direct bolting since the Marauderīs front is exactly the same as the Savage.

Me too!
But until now everything is A-ok.

Any chance of getting a close up pic of the bar mount to the triple tree so we can see how it bolts up?

Hmmmmm?!!! I'll bet that the VZ800 front end (forks, triple tree, wheel/tire, bars, etc.) would look wicked on an LS650! Anyone ever see this transplant done?! 8)

Sure, will do tomorrow, or asap.
- Basically put together the contents of box and get your cablework ready leaving about a foot of extra cable sticking out.
- You remove the 2 bolts that hold the headlight in place (directly under lamp).
- Then you clean the area (might as well) and place the flat part of the lightbar there and make sure all the holes match, bolt headlamp back on.
- Connect cables. I connected mine INSIDE the main headlight and used the yellow (high-beam) cable as 12V+. You must of course disassemble the lamp first in order to do that. (*more info on connections written under the "box contents pic")
Thatīs it.

No hurry. Actually I figured it out after I posted that when I went back and looked at the parts a little closer.

See how the top-front part is basically the same, the forks are inversed though.

awesome mod!!
youve added 9.2 amps to your lighting circuit for a total of 21.55 amps(high beam on turn signals, and brake lite on) at 12 volts BUT the regulated voltage is 14 - 15.5 volts @ 5500 rpm..would think fuse would blow if there is a problem...i such case you could run a relay (controlled by high beam in main head lamp)and seperate fused circuit from the battery...or leds on rear
turn signals and tail/brake,license light..

You are right!
The system runs at about 15Amps and has a 20Amp fuse. It should have blown allready.
I think I really should install that relay if I donīt want to end up on a dark road trying to replace that fuse (or worse) in the middle of the night.
Allright, new weekend project
