Engine mod info

What is available to hop-up the LS650 other than pipes and carb mods? How about a higher compression piston and a mild street grind camshaft? I did those things on a Triumph engine I had  in the 70s and it made a big difference. Are these items available and usefull on this engine?

Nope just talk (type) to him.  Me = happy carb customer... despite the fact that it's not quite tuned yet...

Lancer,  Hadn't heard about the head porting yet.  What's up w/ that?

But more importantly... bigger valves?  Status?  How about a whole new head?

And darnIT!  I want a kickstart only!  (mine's a chopper!)

BLAH!

Lancer do you have any dyno info on your mods? I read that a stock 650 is around 28-30 HP from the factory. Have you documented the improvement with your mods?
