2005 Savage carb
09/06/06 at 11:54:23

Hi, having real difficulty  Sad getting the mixture right. Can't seem to get it past the chugging, low revs, then cutting out stage.
Can anyone tell me the correct setting or any other way to cure it? before it sends me round the twist.
Sometimes I can go for literally hundreds of miles without it being silly Tongue other times it's 2 or 3 times a day.
It's all very strange Roll Eyes
Cheers

Welcome to the site flashback. Have you done any mods or rejetting to your Savage?

Is your bike just running rough? There's no settings to an S40 in stock trim aside from idle speed. Give us more info about your bike.

Is your engine just quitting because the idle speed is too low?
