ok guys in my "Clymer "manuel on page 188 they have a exploded view of a carburetor,can some one tell me what the number is of the washer I have to take out,
the one that helps with back fireing.

you don't remove it, you shave it in half  or use stainless washers in it's place

             My Clymer is different from what ever book you use,both drawings are quite different,  So that being said can some one show me the washer from the one I have. thanks

It's the # 8 in Clymer, the one listed as "Spacer ring."

Yes it is. No spacer is too rich. Go to 1/2 or 2/3s spacer.

Never heard of going leaner on the pilot jet. Only if you were at high altitude would you want to do that. I'd go to the stock pilot jet or +1. A smaller pilot would increase your popping.
