On a similar but wholey unrelated note, has anyone tried the oiled "Pod/Sock" flexible filters? I know dirt-bikes can use them, and I'm sure if I didn't give up, there'd have to be a way to keep the stock looking bat-box and side covers.... Just wondering......

So I just got the airbox taken off, put the batery box back on and the filter on. I think I'm going to try and make some brackets or something to put the two side plates back on, I like the look of them. I was also looking at the smaller filter, looks like most people have it extending out into that void where the airbox was, what do you think about wrapping the tube around the engine and having hte pod come out the front? Maybe mount it onto the side reflectors on the side of the frame on the front. I think that would look kinda cool.
