I seem not to have a problem with removal of my throttle side grip. Noticed it had gapped a little earlier today and tapped the end to seat it back fully. Decided tonight to see how far off it would come. All the way, no damage. Guess when I scrape up the money for replacement grips, I won't have to worry too much about the throttle side grip not coming off.
