Oh wow, I'm gone for a month and miss out on this?

I do love some Enfields. And Triumphs. And so on.

I was rather fond of the Kawasaki W650 parallel twin a couple years ago. But they're out of production now, I think.

Cafe racers are awesome. Honda had a GB500 cafe racer in the early '90s. I think it was a single too.

Try this site on for size.  http://www.classic-motorcycle-fiberglass.com/stock.htm

I believe the tank you are looking for would be a Dunstall.  This site has everything to make a new bike look classicly cafe.

Good Luck.

That crusty little micro-tank is of a CB160 or similar. That is a distinctly Honda gas valve. I used a crusty little micro tank on my Savage, again with a distinctly Honda gas valve, I think one from a CMX250C.

Here's my tank:

I love the look of cafe bikes, but can't ride them. Bad back won't let me bend like that anymore. So, I put the apes on mine. Same era, different style. The heyday of biking had to be the 1960s...
