Clutch Engagement

Hey everyone just a quick question.
I didn't know if this is normal or not, but when I'm in neutral the bike rolls really smooth; but, If the bike in in any gear mostly first even with the clutch lever pulled in all the way i have to rock the bike forward about 1-2 inches for the "compression" sensation to go away. But i still feel more drag than when im in neutral.
Is it normal to have to roll just a little to get the bike to roll smoothly with the clutch fully engaged?

Yes, this is normal.
Check the freeplay of the clutch, mine has about 3mm at the handle and behaves the same as yours.
