I won't deny it may be me.  However, even though it has been many years since driving a bike, I'm not a novice.

It feels like the roads are wet even though they are bone dry.  I have not firmed up my shocks yet, although it is something I want to try.

This is probably the lightest bike I've owned so my initial thought was that it was a typical handling characteristic of the Savage.  Now that y'all (West Virginia lingo) are telling me that this puppy should handle like a dream, I will be replacing the tires (and firming the shocks.)

Don't overlook loose spokes as a cause of a loose feeling in the handling. Max
