Belt squeak when cold, generally on acceleration? (Read 5 times)

MacAttack Ex Member	Belt squeak when cold, generally on acceleration? 05/11/06 at 13:17:46 My bike has just over 600 miles on it, and I notice an intermittant squeak lasting a few seconds or so. The belt is reasonably tight (can turn 90 degrees). I do ride on two miles of gravel road daily. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Mac

i guess it's time for the newbee speech again. please use the search function to find the answere before posting.set it it max entries. the belt issue has been discused many times. also reading back throug the posts will give you a chance to "catch up" with topics, and learn who's who on the board.

having said that, i will now answere the question.

yes a squel is normal, mine when cold or wet out.

like my wife, i've learned to tune it out. Shocked

Don't worry. Sluggo's not mad. He's just cranky. And I don't blame him. He can't ride his pimp savage right now Wink
