I have an 87 the right side controls were the throttle cable goes in has a nut that screws in the back.I got a carb from lancer and it came with a throttle cable for the newer bikes after they changed the design. Lancer worked with me and had a cable made to fit the carb and my right hand control, but I still seem to be having trouble. so on e-bay on found a right hand control from a 2004 it does not show the back side. So I was hoping  that someone would now if it would work ??? thanks
