Way to go dude, an excellent buy.  Now all you need are a set of 14mm bushings so you can put it on the Savage.

Get 'er done and go enjoy the ride...these are some of the best shocks around.

Recieved.  I had been a little worried that the spring rate wouldn't be suitable for the Savage, but it is marked on the springs as 115/155.  I would not have minded even lighter, but considering they have come off a Harley I am probably lucky to get that.  The seller had them measured at 11 3/4 inches.  They are in fact 12", which is just what I was looking for.  So I feel pretty lucky with all that.  Just on general impression there is not comparison between these shocks and the stock ones.  Much more solid.  I don't have the bushings yet, but I tried them on just to see how they would look.  Unfortunately there was not enough clearence with the SE II muffler I have installed.  I managed to bend the mount enough that I could get the shocks on, but there is just millimeters clearence.  Hopefully a washer or two will give me enough that I feel comfortable with it.  Otherwise I will have to add some metel so the muffler points down a bit more.  I also removed the belt guard.  It does not appear that I will need an additional spacer in place of the removed guard.
