Making my Dream a Reality

Hello all,

It's been 6 months since I purchased what has turned out to be the most fun bike I've ever ridden. Since I definitly plan on keeping this awesome machine, I obviously have to make it my own... so this is where I need help.

I've seen some awesome savages on here and the internet and know exactly what I want to do with mine! The bad part is that I've been unable to get the strait dirt from the locals as there aren't that many savages in the area and local shops are Harley only Nazis.

Mods I'd like to make but can't find a part supplier on:
-Drag Bars (non OEM)
-Bar Risers
-Extended Forks (looking to rake my bike out)
-A decent frame chopper in Norcal

Mod's I've got a hande on!
-Jardine Exhaust, powder coated (e-bay n Narte)
-K&N intake mod (Rock N' Race)
-Forward Controls (courtesy of Scott's Mobile Trailer)
-All matte black paintjob (Narte, you're the man!)
-Kustom Pinstriping (Seaside Deals 4 U)
-Clear Lenses (e-bay baby)
-Relocated rear signals
-Skull Brake Light (Low Bugget Racing)
-HID Fog Lamps (a must in Monterey)
-Coker Whitewall Tires

Considering for the future:
-Forced induction (I've turbo'd plenty of cars so why not!)
-Air-ride suspension (for those long cruises)

I'll be posting pics as I get the mods under way. I have most of the parts already lined up and in production, right now the only thing on the bike is the Jardine Exhaust (loud baby, very loud). I'm hoping to finish the project before March...

Where I'm headed:

Very nice design.

I would take the rear-end from the top picture and the front from the bottom (picture).

My opinion Embarrassed

I like the red rims better.  Good luck on finding the wide whitewalls (post the source.)

-Tires tires tires-
Well I've already faced the nightmare that is the Savage Rear Tire... All the shops wanted to sell me the Dunlop D404 140/90H-15 that isn't the stock size, but will fit. I finally tracked down the exact stock replacement tire a Dunlop K555 140/80HB-15. I would have used the Dunlop K555 again for the Whitewall, but they only make it in a 170 series....http://www.tiresnstuff.com/dunlop-oemb-k555,f24,k177,d404.html

-Now to the whitewall-
I was going to use the Maxxis Classic M6011 150/90H15 http://www.tiresunlimited.com/ALL%20TIRES/Maxxis/maxxis_classic_m6011.htm that not only fits perfectly, but looks killer . However, I've recently learned that Maxxis might have stopped production of the tire. I'll post a bit later n fill you all in!

Here's a quick question, and if the answer is yes, I have a whitewall solution for the Savage already picked out:

Can you put a 150 series tire on the Savage without problems???????
