Which of the above 3 ohm coils are single tower?
One at that resistance should work fine, how about the secondary resistance? And ... what is the coilo utput to the plug, 40k 50k??

but once you put in an IR plug that pops with far less doesn't that do about the same thing as a mild up grade in coil?

Not to hijacek the thread, but is therer a noticeable difference with an Iridium spark plug.
