Ok

Sissybar: very hard work, took me 2 days...i bought a piece of suitable stainless steel and was working on it with fire and hammer (very solid metal). I drilled holes and made threads. After this work this thing was black and full of scraches, so i took a sandpaper and was working on it a few hours. To finish it i needed water sandpaper and abrasive compoud. Thats all

My hubby uses a business in Fort Worth that makes all kind of things to accomodate his remodeling jobs and all they work with is stainless steel. I have seen some of their work but never thought about making the sissybar out of stainless steel. They are called M & M Manufacturing. I'll have to do some sweet talking and see if he'll check into it for us.
