I just had a friend cover this old seat,Haven't tried it out on the road yet but I can tell you it needs more padding ! Check it out .

I saw a stadium seat advertised in a Penney's catalog that might have the type padding you're looking for; it is catalog #AJ725-1122 on sale for $17.99. It has memory foam over a 2" Omalon base. Should be firm & cushy. check it out at  www.jcpenney.com

I found a place down the street that sells memory foam,Gonna need it this thing is like sitting on a rock!

I still love my pillow top gel seat but every once in awhile I want a different look and this solo seat should work well.
