Just wondering if anyone is headed to this rally - if it really pulls in as many bikes as it claims I need to have a look.

I wish I could but I'm livin' and workin' in the great white north.  We have a bike rally in Port Dover, Ontario that attracts something like 50 or 60000 bikes once a year on a Friday the 13th.  I hear it's crazy.  Tell me about yours....

Hurricane Rita in Sept moved this rally to the Nov 3-5 but I have read it may start as early as Oct 30 and 100k to 250k bikes depending on the weather - hard to believe you could put that many there.

The International Motorcycle Show is in Dallas that same weekend, bet that will cut into the participation. I plan to go to that, even though I just Hate Dallas. The traffic sucks. I worked at TI for a couple of years in the 60's and fought it every day. When we go to Lake Fork, we use I-20 even though it takes a little longer. I guess I'm just a gripey old woman. I wonder if there will be enough rooms to accomodate that many people? I have two Grandsons working in Jasper, Honey Island area clearing tree damage and they are having to stay in Livingston to find a room.

They moved it to Fort Worth this year. Traffic's still bad there on weekends though. Tongue

that is great news, I can almost find my way around Fort Worth. Grew up in River Oaks, but boy has it changed.

The over nighters ready for a run on Galveston

A fine hotrod '95 savage

a fine '84 Honda Interceptor V-4

A dressed RoadKing - GPS Street Map case we get lost

A many show winning Harley if there's anything else that could be polished or chromed I'm not sure what it would be.

The scooters and golfcart wanted to go too- but had to stay home

The gang is ready

Park where? and one block later

Rain rain and more rain!

Several blocks of this

been waiting long?
