ive been looking at drag bars for my 96 would a 1" dia by 27 in work well also what about these that have the built in risers would those work would i need anything special? do the compromise handleing for a begining rider? thanks dan

The stock risers on my S40 are about 6" & the bars are about 26" or so in width & they feel fine. Doesn't handle heavy to me but it's a light bike anyway. The main thing to make sure the bolt holes in the triple clamp match the bolt holes in the new bar in distance, otherwise should be pretty straightforward.
