the coil assembly/ignition died on me. $70 to replace the parts.
After redlining ther bike for 4200 miles in about 4 days, my cam chain tensioner (it's a ltittle spring) also died. This, however, did not prevent the bike from running, it just ran like crap and wouldn't go over 65. I "had" to get where I was going, and I pushed it the last 800 miles in 20 hours. With an hour left, one of my footpegs fell off.
My high/low beam indicator does not work, but who cares?
Uh, I think that's it.
Oh, incidentally, my friend has a suzuki hayabusa, and his cam chain tensioner also broke, but he ended up bending a valve stem pretty good and chipping a starter motor gear, if I recall correctly.
WD: How did your calipers break?
