Torque's bike pics

Hey me and torque hung out today and we took out my baffle out of the HD sportster muffler.  HUGE PAIN in the butt but well worth it.  ITS LOUD and his is a stock baffle-less muffler also.  When we were riding along each other, people were baffled at our baffleless mufflers haha.

Aw man check out his  rear fenderless bike.  The side license plate is awesome.  Can u believe he made that bracket for his rear turning signals??  He also made a seat mod of his own using aluminum and it sits much higher than mine . Oh yeah! I almost forgot.  His dad is a genius and made highway pegs that look awesome and feel great.  I had to sit down on his bike and stretch my legs and i was very envious.  No belt guard makes it kinda unique too.  Well thats all folks.  I hope u enjoy his pics,  and ill be stealing his highway peg idea soon.

ps. its a pretty tricky job, make sure they clear the brake and shifter.and get a very strong type of metal, and at least 3/8ths thick.

so, how exactly is the bracing attached?  I can't see how it wouldn't slide down with any force on it.  I love the idea and want to do it.  Can you give a bit of direction in this line...

Thanks

first u have to take the stock pegs off,u dont use them exept for the rubber.

second u will have to make your own pegs out of the stronger steel,(the stock ones are WAY to week),and not the right shape.  too do this just grind the metal down so it bolts into the same place as the stock pegs,u can trace the shape of the stock peg onto a pice of paper then cut it out and trace it onto your new metal, this eliminates alot of grinding and guess work.
be sure the pegs tuck in,but dont wiggle(washerswork)
third this is the must important step, cut a piece of metal,
for the extentions, how long is up to u.

this is where it gets trcky, cut the extentions at the right angle so they dont interfere with braking or shifting, and so that they are even on both sides(up,down, left, right)
then weld them to the pegs(making one piece).

then take the passenger pegs (or buy new ones),and weld them on the extensions where there comfortable.

DO NOT weld anything directly to the bike, the whole thing must be able to tuck in if u scrape them on a sharp curve , just as the stock ones do.

ps dont even try this if your not GREAT with welding,or good wth math,i can stand on only the extention pegs and they dont flex.

good luck ,hope u get it 8)
