Welcome Jen! I'm sure you've already heard from Git that there are a lot of good folks here with a lot of information to share. Please read a lot and when you do searches, remember to set the filter to something further back than the default of 7 days. I think you're gonna love your Savage... but then I am biased.

And condolences Git. I'm sorry for your loss... though I know you do enjoy your Star.
