Going to Vegas in Oct.

Hey everybody,
I'm going to Vegas in October (10-14) does anyone know who or where I can rent a bike or scooter to get around?? (Anybody else going to be there too?) I'd much prefer this vs. a cage!! How about any other good excursion ideas that I can do while I'm there so I can do something better than just sit at some blackjack table or buffet??  Grin

would love to meet you, but i'm no longer welcome in "sin city".

i was caught with both a clock, and a joint.  Shocked
both of which are frowned upon in Las Vegas.

bummer dude

Riding around in the desert sounds like fun.  Might even cool off a bit in October.  Vegas isn't that far from Death Valley National Park.  Gorgeous scenery; take lots of water.

maps.yahoo.com > las vegas, nv > search for more businesses nearby > motorcycle rentals > many hits with phone numbers.

You can get anything from a Ruckus to a full dress Harley.  (I would get an 883 Sportster for $75/day just to see if it is as bad as people say.)

My wife and I just got back from vegas. We rented a Dyna Wide Glide for the trip, and had mixed results.
The bike looked and sounded good, but it was super heavy and wasn't much faster (if at all) than my savage. There were tons of vibrations, that i don't even get on my 19 year old LS650. The ground clearance was terrible, and handling was pretty poor. All in all, i can't see paying 16-18K for a slow and rattleing bike.
Oh yeah, and you would think that a $16,000 650lb bike would come with a decent passenger seat!

My husband rented the same this past week and had the same experience with that particular bike.
We like my savage better!

We are going to vegas Oct 13th thru the 17th for a
wedding.  I hadn't thought of it..but we should rent
a bike instead of a car!
