That makes sense.  Those guys certainly do get into ahem - "discussions" fairly often. Roll Eyes  Yeah, I'm one too, but I'm generally in for the training advice, which they are great for.  You folks are a lot less stressful!

Okay.  Web Log is the source for Blog.  Makes sense....and as Susan said, I remember Sunny's online diary too.

Now, back to Ebay stores.  Anyone seen or used one?

I've used them. You don't get near as much money as you would by selling things yourself (at least that's what I'm told), but I have neither the time nor the inclination to sell a bunch of stuff on E-bay so taking it to someone who does everything and then gives me a check at the end works for me. (The place I took stuff to took pictures, took care of collecting the money and shipped the stuff out). I did check their on line ratings which were good.

I wasn't super impressed by E-bays ability to find the stuff that I had them put on-line, but the stuff did get sold at reasonable prices with reasonable amounts of bids.

There is an eBay store down the street from me.  WeSellNow is the name.  They usually have pretty good stuff (a lot of collectibles).  I usually check out their eBay listings to see if there is anything that I am interested in.  I can save on shipping costs and get the items much quicker since they are local.

I'm not sure that I would use them to sell however.  Here's their pricing structure:
Quote:
Item Sells For ...                 You Get !
       $50.00                                $30.00
       $200.00                 $120.00
       $500.00                 $300.00
       $950.00                 $615.00
       $1,650.00              $1,170.00
       $2,800.00              $2,120.00
       $7,900.00              $6,710.00
       $12,000.00              $10,400.00

On small items, you lose 40%!!  That seems like a lot of overhead.

40% ??  Keep in mind that if the item does not sell, the selling store has to eat the cost of the ebay ad...and the auction ad has to be renewed weekly...more $$, and when it does sell there is a percentage that goes to ebay.  And the store itself has a monthly fee plus a percentage of sales.

THIS IS FREE ENTERPRISE AT ITS' BEST!!!
