What's wrong with shaft drive and liquid cooled motors?

(No, I really want to know!  I'm basing a large part of my research on which bikes are the most durable and lowest maintenance)

If you want low maintenance go air cooled (no water pump or plumbing)
If you want durability go water cooled and shaft drive.

Keep in mind though, that everything breaks. Its my opinion you'll put just as much work in to fixing whatever, easy maint. just means you'll do it more often and more quickly.

Seriously ?? I mite not be riding anything,....because I had about given up on finding the right lighter weight motorcycle, when my long distance brother sent me a link to the s-40.
But, I mite have settled for a 250, Suzi or Yammie before I gave it up completely.
