I bought my bone stock 1996 Savage back in January of 2019 with 19k miles. This is my first road bike and also my first bike build. It has been an ongoing project; build it, ride it, tear down, repeat.

Mods:

Cult x Vans waffle grips
Cut the ball ends off of levers and smoothed
Cut and smoothed mirror mounts off the levers
Todd's cycle mini mirror
Burly Brand MX style bars
Kawasaki 2" risers
Raptor 660 petcock
Ebay Solo seat
Cut frame and welded flat stock for said seat to mount
TC Bros rear fender, cut, and welded to swingarm
TC Bros plate bracket and LED tail light
Kenda Kruz tires. Rear is 140/90-15
Pod filter on carb
Pod filter for case breather
12" free flowing reverse cone muffler
Lancers Nitrided Cam Chain
Deleted Side stand safety switch and relay
Deleted Clutch position sensor
Turned my air box into an electronics box

Mods in the Works:

Progressive suspension front and rear
Kevlar brake pads and shoes
Stage 3 cam
Ported and polished head
Fabricate new header(1.625 ID)
Wiseco HC piston
Versy tensioner and head plug
Mikuni VM36 carb
Barnett Clutch and springs
Pulley wobble fix
Faux Oil Tank Electronics box
Tiny Lithium Ion battery

Possible Mods:

Delete decomp solenoid for a manual lever
Add turn signals back on
Install a Tachometer

This is a VERY Clean Bobber!  I really like it.  About to start on a '06 S40 I recently acquired. Any update?

Front fender stock ?
Shapes and lines , tight
Excellent job for a first build !
